THUNDERBOLT Suspension - Hydraulic Jib
The THUNDERBOLT Hammer can be supported by RME’s telescoping jib. This configuration includes jib extend/retract function via horizontal telescoping boom sections and raise/lower function via the hydraulic winch mounted on the rear of the main boom.
Jib extension/retract and winch/hook lift and lower are operated from the hammer via small levers located near the hammer handles.
The THUNDERBOLT Hammer height remains constant throughout jib extension/retraction without requiring operator control.
Once the Hydraulic Jib unit is assembled it can be placed in the required location by the lifting lugs on top of the outer boom.
