When will Russell Mineral Equipment have a presence in Western Australia?
Australia is a large country, and sometimes from our Toowoomba headquarters, it can be quicker to provide service and spares to overseas locations. There are numerous Mill Relining Systems installed in Western Australia currently. With more projects in Western Australia planned, it is likely that this number will grow in the next few years. RME has established subsidiaries in Chile and the USA, with the aim to meet or exceed customer expectations for lead times on the delivery of service and spares. For this reason we also plan to establish a branch in Western Australia in late 2011 or early 2012.
RME is also currently planning to provide increased levels of service and spare parts supply to South Africa, and this will be done in conjunction with our plans to provide better service to the entire region of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Western Australia.
